You step into a stone tunnel. Your footsteps echo but you hear nothing, and nobody, else. It's long enough to extend into total darkness and the air smells of damp stone. You could almost feel safe here. Almost.
This development prompts Sir Escart to hum thoughtfully. "You've found a dwarf tunnel. They're a good find and can help you bypass some of the level's dangers, but if anything comes after you, you must make sure to keep walking, or perhaps run, lest they attack you."
His advice makes your spine shiver so you start walking. The whole way through, you listen carefully for footsteps, growling, or any other signs of life behind you, and hope that nothing decides to come the other way.
It is with great relief that you reach the far end without meeting anything. You do however have a choice to make. There are three exits: one in the left-hand wall, one straight ahead, and one in the right-hand wall.
Which will you choose?
