Alaura takes a moment to appraise you. "As counter-intuitive at it is, I think you are right. Self-sacrifice is a noble thing but we should all have reasonable limits.
"Here, I have a gift for you." She reaches into her robes and pulls forth a small pouch, which she opens. She reaches in and gifts you with one of its contents: an acorn. "Take this. You will need it on your journey. Now, I have work to do and I daresay so do you. Your journey lies in that direction," she tells you, pointing you towards an archway at the far end of the courtyard.
She turns away and you consider her strange gift. Will you keep it? It will use up one of the two spaces in your inventory. If you want to keep it, update your inventory accordingly. If you decide to leave it, you quietly put it in one of the clay pots in this place while Alaura's not looking.
Then you leave via the garden's far exit.
