As you talk, Lisset's brow furrows and she starts slowly pacing, stepping carefully and watching where she puts her feet, is if she's playing don't-step-on-the-cracks. You get a distinct impression she's unimpressed. Your words eventually fizzle out and you ask, "What's wrong?"
Lisset considers her words for a while. Then she says, "I think it's awfully rude to lie to people, especially if they offered to help you. The thing is, I don't understand why you'd lie to me. So look, I don't think I'm going to help you. But I don't like to watch people die so I'm going to go away for a while and see if Alaura needs help with anything for her garden. I'll come back when you're gone. Either you'll die and disappear from the dungeon or you'll try to leave the way you came, and that never did an outsider any good at all. Still," she finishes, "that's just how it is. Bye!"
She trots out of the room before you can stop her, and find yourself with nothing to do but let your Life Force clock tick down to nothing.
Sir Escart can think of nothing better to do than chuckle at your blatant attempt to abuse Lisset's naivete.
At least you can make yourself comfortable to die. Perhaps you'd care to start your adventure again?
