Alaura's Herb Garden

You emerge into a pleasant, open courtyard full of plants. The leaves around you must be rich with oils, as the elegant scent of herbs hangs in this place like a benevolent cloud. It's such a contrast to the previous room and, as you judge it, so unfitting for a dungeon that you look around in surprise, waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Sir Escart grunts his approval. "You've found one of the courtyards built into the edges of my dungeon."

A handsome woman in her prime tends one of many clay pots overflowing with greenery. She wears gardening attire that reminds you of nuns, although you cannot quite place why as it's not the standard black-and-white that you're used to. So far, she has ignored you to continue her work, but as Sir Escart falls quiet she turns.

"Ah! What have we here?" she asks, removing her gloves as she comes forward to greet you.

You tell her your name that explain that you were sent by Sir Escart and why.

"But of course," Alaura muses, half to herself. "One of the classic quests. Well dungeoneer, since you've come into my gardens, I think it is my right to ask you a few questions. Then we'll see if I'm willing and able to help you."

You nod, and she continues.

"Here is my first. Who should pay me for caring for the sick: my patient, or the Dungeon Master, and why?"

You think about your answer, then you tell her. If you said:
